At least, Honey, you're better in English than proposing enigma!
Well, the Rakes... I know the name, but i've no clue about what they are doing. I even don't know where they come from (probably British band) and if they are still playing. But (if i good remember), that was something like 'funny/dark rock' with some sounds a bit like the Smith or something...
Or i'm completly wrong, and that's done once again.
Edit:

Run fast toward your place...

Yeaaaah, Honey. We know you want to talk about The Fratellis, so go on...!
English music...Mmmh. All that "britpop" and indie wave, which is invading France...I'm not a complete fan of this style, but some bands are really good.
And has anyone ever heard about The Toy Dolls ?

The Rakes come from Sweden, I think... But they are very "british"... (like Muse, actually : they come from Australia, but their style is more british than any other one ! ^^)
I do not know very well their music style, but it seems to be a kind of "constructive rock"... Something happy. They are appreciated (well... I am sure there are many many mistakes in my sentences today) in High-fashion world, as Aaron and Mika, actually ! ^^

Their song, Open Book, has been used by Canal Satellite for ad, with Zidane.
It was is 2006, during the World Cup. I know this band with that way, but since this ad, never heard about them.

I'm not great at all in english. I know few words but i'm very good at being understanding by people from another country (international workcamps help it ). And I'm sorry for my very bad grammar and vocabulary.
I Love Irish people, french rock and I hate Mika and english pop (except THE only one: Duke Special the king of kingd of pop).
